- Slipknot is in Studio A with Head Engineer/Producer Steve Wright tracking for their side project "Her Voice". Clown will also be recording some of his solo material at WrightWay in the coming months.
- Congratulations to Dying Fetus for hitting the Billboard Top 200 Chart with "Dying for Depravity"! They're back in March to begin working on the next one. They're shooting for a May 2010 release.
- Misery Index just finished their lates album "Heirs to Thievery" with Head Engineer Steve Wright.
- David Correy and Bossman remixed David's single "Dreamin'" off the "Urban Rock Odssey" EP recorded with Head Engineer Steve Wright.
- Work set to start soon on a new Lake Trout Record. Yay!

- Doug Segree is in again and will be finishing his latest record for release in April 2010.
- Following up on her hit "Paper Planes" as featured in the hit movie "Slumdog Millioinaire", M.I.A and Blaqstarr remix Tom Waite's "Way Down In The Hole" in Studio A with Head Engineer Steve Wright.
- Congratulations to Mambo Sauce for hitting the Billboard Hot Hip - Hop and R&B Charts with "Miracles"!
- Congratulations to Mambo Sauce for getting the video for "Welcome To DC" in rotatioin on VH1 Soul, and plays on BET, BETJ, MTV Jams and MTV2! It's also the official intro song for all Washington Wizards and Mystics home games at the Verizon Center!
-Everyone has been waiting for a studio album from the
trio BIG IN JAPAN. Now its finally happening. Teaming
up with Producer/Engineer Steve Wright the band is ready to release their
"Crushing Epic 50's Inspired Distorted Symphony". Due out in
the spring......It's different.
-We have to say a BIG fairwell to Dog Fashion Disco.
They are callin it quits after 13 years of the grind. It was great to
see their last show Sold Out with Attendees from all over the world.....quite
impressive. But that doesn't mean they are out for the count. Jason the
guitar player is back in with his new band Phantom Comunique' with lead singer Brandon from Bleed the Dream. They are recording
their new demo with Producer Steve Wright in Studio A. Also getting back
to it is lead singer Todd and drummer John with their new project DR.

-The Benzos will be back in next week to work on the mix of their new
album with WrightWay Studios Producers Steve Wright and Woody Ranere.
-Studio B's Tracking Room is getting a whole new look
and vibe! We'll keep you posted on the new creative look and atmosphere
of the room that you'll have to check out.
-Check out the Equipment List page for new additions,
including our vintage Roger's drum kit and new microphones.
-Kelly Bell is back in recording
two albums at the same time, both due out in the begining of next year.
They are shaping up to be some of the band's best work yet. And, congrats
to the band for breaking the 90,000 mark on CD sales. Not a bad feat for
an independant artist.
-WrightwayStudios Producer Steve Wright and Woody Ranere of Lake Trout
are co-producing the Benzos out of New York. Strong melodies, big beats
and ethereal guitars.
-Peter Wichers, once of the Swedish band Soilwork, is in the studio producing
with Wrightway Studios engineer/producer Mike McAree. Together they are
working on the midatlantic based band Samadhi.
-Dog Fashion Disco has finished mixing their album, "Adultry,"
with Producer Steve Wright. A story of a man traveling in his own mind
exploring the Anger, Fear, Pashion and Remorse of being a serial killer.
One for the whole family to enjoy.
-Coloring Lesson is scheduled to finish their long
overdue album in September with Producer Steve Wright.
- Dog Fashion Disco is in Studio C with Drew Lamond working on writing
and preproduction for their upcoming album scheduled to start with producer
Steve Wright in September. The term "Satanic Rock Opera" has
been thrown around quite a bit...........we'll see.
- It's been one year since the massive overhaul
to the studio and everything has proven to be an overwhelming success.
Now.... We've come up with even more ideas to help improve the WrightWay
experience. Not only are we going to improve upon our existing recording
rooms, but we will soon be adding yet another "production" room.
(it's a secret....we'll tell you later.)
- Fools and Horses Producer/Engineer Mike McAree finishes the mixes for
the band's 12 song full length in Studio B. Fools second album is due
out in Nov.
- Congrats to Malvado for staying in the top five on GarageBand.com now
going on two months straight. Also props to the Band and Steve Wright
for getting top 20 all time best production.
- Jim Schroeder is in Studio A with Steve Wright and assistant engineer
Jason Paquin engineering/mixing six concertos
the Composer has been working on. Together with perfomace help from the
Peabody faculty, Jims efforts in the studio will hopefully lead to us
hearing these amazing pieces for Marimba, French Horn, Organ, and Choir
performed by full Orchestras.
- Make sure to watch TNT's "Wanted" featuring music from our
very own Josh Mobley and also our long time recording family members Malvado.
(Josh says that episode seven is his favorite!)
- Doug Segree is back in the studio for his third project at WrightWay
with Steve Wright mixing his first Live record....."LIVE from Maryland
Hall". Eleven tracks performed with his full band. Proving once again
"Doug just can't make a bad record"..........hmmmmmm
-WOW!!!!!!!!!! our very own Josh Mobley (composer extraordinaire) is now
writing for TNT's show "Wanted". He has been asked to cowrite
the entire season. This ontop of scoring a movie earlier this year has
made our six year family member LA bound.
- Chad Sexton of the Band 311 has jumped on board to mix the Agents of
the Sun's new record produced by Steve Wright, Mike McAree, and Drew Lamond.
- Lake Trout and their live engineer Dave Lyles team up with Engineer/Producer
Steve Wright to mix the compliment to their latest studio effort. Their
second live record, although originally planned for a European release
only, should be available in the US in the fall.
- Mike McAree and FOOLS AND HORSES scheduled to start their full length
in May.
- Agents Of the Sun start their next full length album.
- Mike McAree and Aeva Disaster finish mixing there 5 song ep in studio
"B" while Gold Mind Squad completes their next release in "A".
- WrightWayStudios and Dog Fashion Disco begin scoring "THE EXORCIST
- The New Beginning" with Paul Schrader and Tom Drescher.
– Congrats to Lake Trout for getting five out of five stars
in London's Daily Star Magazine. "....Their wildy inventive
brand of tripped out space rock makes this a late contender for album
of the year."
– Producers Woody Ranere and Steve Wright are putting the final
touches on Lake Trout's next full length album. The band's 5th album release
will also feature songs produced by Tony Dugan (Belle and Sebastian) and
David Fridmann (Mercury Rev,Flaming Lips).
– Ok, so we're finally finished the renovations. It took a little
longer than expected, but once we started we couldn't stop. Every floor,
wall, carpet, console, and room was upgraded to complete our vision. We
are very proud of how it turned out and can't wait for you to see it.
The additional recording rooms should enable us to provide time for all
those people who couldn't get in before, due to our overflow. Call us
and ask for a tour.
– Sorry to say, but we must take a "vacation"
for a couple of months to complete our construction. We're very excited
about the changes. See you at the reopening.
– Mike Mcaree just finished producing/mixing A Perfect Kiss'
album. You should definitely check this one out. These guys are gonna
make noise.
– **JUST ANNOUNCED** Keep on the lookout for MAJOR upgrades
to Wrightway Studios in September. We are adding a fourth studio as well
as an additional lounge. We are also upgrading the consoles in EVERY Room.
– Devon Loizeaux, who just finished recording her first record
for her band SHUGAR at Wrightway Studios, is one of three finalists in
the nation for the Pantene Provoice singer/songwriter competition!!
Keep on the lookout for Devon’s promo commercial featuring her and her
original song running on MTV, MTV 2, VH1 and BET throughout July!
– A Perfect Kiss is in the studio between tours recording their
11 song full length w/ Mike McAree. The record is due out in October.
– Evan Taubenfeld (Avril Lavigne) is in the studio again to
demo new songs.
– Lake Trout scheduled to start their fifth album with Steve Wright
in April.
– Lennex is writing with Jimi Ha Ha of Jimmies Chicken Shack
Fame at Wrightway Studios for their upcoming demos.
– Voodoo Blue finished the new Noise in the basement theme track
for 98 rock.
– Laughing Colors are finishing their third album due out in
February.
